Microsoft Bizspark Nepal Day
Guys,
this is a long but a life changing information that i am going to provide you.
So please take your time to read and understand it thoroughly, and trust me
when i say it can change your life :) .
Mark Zuckerberg,
Bill Gates, Larry Page, Steve Jobs and many more owners of fortune 500
companies, which everyone has heard of, started off as college students and
built those companies with their innovative ideas, hard work and a lot of
struggle. Being a student of IT, we understand it well that we don’t have much
scope in Nepal to lead a professional life that we all desire. What almost every
one of us wants is to have an engineering certificate with as much marks as
possible, and then a good job which would pay us as per our expectations, and
some of us want a company of our own. But let’s be realistic here; let us take
a scenario of different students of different academic qualities. I have
referred to all the events in a present tense because the scenario is a true
case scenario that holds true now, and in days to come.
Ram,
Manoj and Sabin be students who know no other entertainment than studying and
believe that only good marks is enough to fulfill their dreams. Shyam, Roshan
and Aashish be average students who also happen to have belief that being able
and skilled is also important in addition to having good grades. Lastly, Hari and Keshab be students who fail in few subjects but are very good at their career related
skills and practical tasks.
Ram
completes his BE with CGPA 3.8, and then he applies for a job at a prestigious
company and gets the job. Then he carries on his job, gets promotions and lives
his life happily, as per his expectations. Manoj also completes his BE with
CGPA 3.8 and starts teaching in a college and establishes himself as a renowned
teacher and also finishes his doctorate. Sabin also scores 3.8 in the exam, and is taken by a private company. After working in the company for around 2 and a half years and gaining experience, he is offered by a larger company with a huge pay scale and he also gets to study further under the financial support of his company. This way, he goes on leveling up and takes 4 promotions within 20 years. He then earns beyond his expectation and hence leads a happy prosperous life.
Meanwhile,
Shyam passes with CGPA of 3, but has gained a lot of experiences and skills
during his bachelors study. Now he competes in the same exam that Ram had
competed on, and he also gets the job but in a post inferior to Rams'. He then
works hard and gets promoted over a 5 year period impressing everyone with his
work and skill. Thus, Shyam also gets the position he always wanted in life.
Roshan also passes with the same marks and he then tries to work on a private IT company. The company hires him but he gets dissatisfied of his pay grade and facilities. So he joins eMBA course and after graduating, he applies for the post of a manager in a bank and gets the job because of his good grades and starts living the life of comfort that he always wanted. Aashish scores 2.9 in his BE
examinations, but he had initiated a small business company with an unique
initiative in partnership with his friends, and though not enormous, his
company had done few excellent jobs during his bachelors. In about 6 months
after he passes out of college, he increases his partners, some partner with a
lot of money and some partners with a lot of skills, and goes nationwide, and
he quadruples his company in 2 years and becomes one of the largest company of
the country. He also hires his colleague Sabin to work for him and even
finances Roshans' further studies.
Our
poor guy Hari completes his BE in 4.5 years with a score of 2.1. He then gets
invited by his colleague Aashish to join his company in partnership. Hari works
very hard and with great effort from everyone, grows the company’s' capital
four times the initial, and helps make the company go Multinational in another
5 years. He then handles a branch of his company located in Singapore. So he leads
a life everyone dreams of. Meanwhile, Keshab also passes out with a score of
2.2 but a bagful of certificates and handful of skills. But his unfortunate
life makes him compromise working in a small scale company where he is nt
satisfied at all. So he soon leaves the company but as he is not able to get
job anywhere else, he starts teaching in a +2 college while pursuing his
Masters degree in Science. He finally gets a job to teach engineering students
and lives his life teaching, half satisfied to have got a job better than most
of his friends, and half disappointed to have lost his hope of working where he
actually wanted to work.
They
all had some qualities in them, which led them towards success in life. After
struggling, whether more or less, they finally got a job that helped them live
a prosperous life. And hence their story concludes.
But is
out story concluded? What about those other colleagues of Ram, Shyam and Hari
who had to work 24 x 7 to live just a modest life, and what about few other
colleagues who had to teach in a high school or work as a clerk in a government office? And what
about other colleagues who had to remain unemployed for a long time before they
got a small job to help them afford living and investing on the education of
their children? Well all of those left out colleagues and WE share the common uncertainty
in our life. We are the ones responsible for our lives and our prosperity. What
if Hari had studied real hard during his college days? would his life be the
same? What if Ram had learned so many skills during his college days? Would he
just be limited to the post he now is limited to? There are a lot of questions
left unanswered for Ram, Shyam, Hari and all his colleagues. But US? We still
have got some time to search for our own answers, to find out our limits and to
redefine our future.
So lets
take a moment to think of the things that we can do now in order to ensure a
brighter future ahead of us. We can try searching for a billionaires' daughter
right from our college level, or we can actually try doing something worth our
time. Something like studying the market, getting information on how rapid the
world is moving on in development, and figuring out how we can adopt the speed,
or even out speed the world.
So we
can be anyone among the colleagues of Ram, or anyone studying under business
stream, or any technical field, or even arts, it doesn’t matter as long as we
are studying and want to ensure a bright future for ourselves. So out of few of
the choices that we have got as a student, i am today going to enlighten you
about one option that you have got, that you need to try out and find if life
beholds a golden treasure for you.
Why not
team up with some generous friends? Just like the blind, the deaf and the one
legged guy teamed up to pick up a mango from a mango tree? why not fulfill the
void of our lives, cover up each other’s weaknesses as a team, and actually do
something about our future? Why not start a company together and start making
money, or at least narrowing the options for our future?
If you
find this option even a bit reasonable, its time to team up, gather innovative
ideas and set out on the journey towards wherever the destination is. A perfect
chance has come upon our doorstep, at a perfect time of our lives. Not everyone
gets to be a Mark Zuckerberg, or Bill Gates, or Steve Jobs, but you will never
know if you are one the few soon-to-be-rich-and-famous if you don’t give it a
shot. So, if you think that you deserve a chance to excel forward now and never
have to look back at life again, then come sit with us for this golden chance
of your life, and set your path on a journey that is about to change your lives
forever.
All you
have to do is attend the seminar and get to know about entrepreneurship deeper.
If you then decide it is your cup of tea, we will help you initialize, incubate
you, help you establish and set you free in this competing world to prove your
worth. All you have to do is sit with us and decide if you want this, then come
up with an idea and a team, and start on with your hands full of capacity.
